Abstract
Switching and control circuit making maximum use of a group of electrical supply generators which may have a varying output such as solar cell groups. The circuit employs low forward resistance diodes and multi-contact relays to minimise complexity. Pairs of generator groups (1, 2) are connected in parallel by a diode (3, 4) in each connection line and in the same sense. A manually or automatically controlled relay (5) connected to points of opposite polarity of the generators switches one generator from a parallel to a series connection into the load circuit (6).
