Abstract

The vapour exhaust hood can be inserted between units in a modular kitchen and consists of a box shaped housing(11) which has a flap(12) on the front which pivots upwards. From the back of the flap(12) segment-shaped plates extend inwards parallel to the sides of the housing(11), to form air deflector plates(14). Each air deflector plate(14) has a curved edge with a thicker beading(17') along it. The beading(17') fits into guide pieces on the sides of the housing(11). At the top of the plates(14) in the centre are holes(20) for the pivot axle on the front top edge of the housing(11). At least one of the two guide pieces forms part of a switch housing in one of the sides.
