Abstract

Matière de friction à base organique pour réalisation de garnitures de friction, composée d'un mélange de résine thermodurcissable (résine phénolique), de particules de noix d'acajou, de modifiants élastomères et de modifiants non-organiques. L'invention propose l'inclusion dans cette matière de 8 à 50 % en volume d'une combinaison de fibres choisies à l'exclusion de l'amiante dans un groupe incluant les fibres d'acier, de cellulose, de verre, des fibres minérales et synthétiques, etc. Application à la fabrication de garnitures de friction pour freins et embrayages.
