Abstract

The aerial can perform polarisation rotation, and has a primary source at the focus of the aerial dish. The primary source is reflecting for waves with a first polarisation, and transparent for waves with a second polarisation, perpendicular to the first. It has further auxiliary receivers whose directional characteristic coincides with the aerial side lobes, and comparators for signals from the Cassegrain aerial and from the auxiliary receivers. The auxiliary receivers have tappings (11, 12) in the primary source (1), which tap circulating waves when receiving waves with the second polarisation. They have a device (21) inserted between the tapping (12) and comparators (22).
