Abstract
The system uses a servomotor (3) which rotates the detector (1) around an axis (2) and an aiming element which rotates with the detector. The aiming element controls automatically the servomotor. The aiming system has two identically detecting elements (9a, 9b) which deform as a function of the amount of flux energy they receive from the source. The two elements are mounted in opposite directions. The system has a moving element on which the detecting elements act in opposition. The displacement of the moving element is thus a function of the difference in energy received by the detecting elements. A screen is placed between the source and the detector so that illumination of the two detecting elements is equal when the detector is aimed onto the source.
