Tête à aléser et à dresser ayant un corps porteur 1 recevant une cage cylindrique 22 enfermant un tiroir 4, un contrepoids 11, leurs guidages et des engrenages 16 à 19 qui les déplacent, la cage présentant à sa face avant tournée vers le porte-outil 6 un couvercle 23 à face frontale plane 23a et à fente longitudinale 24 pour le passage d'une partie avant 4a du tiroir, le long de laquelle une plaque de recouvrement 25 s'appuyant sur la face frontale 23a recouvre complètement la fente longitudinale. Utilisation : tours et machines-outils similaires.
