Abstract

L'invention concerne un indicateur de niveau de liquide Cet indicateur est constitué par un tube vertical transparent relié au réservoir de liquide, et dans lequel un flotteur opaque se déplace, selon le niveau du liquide, entre une source lumineuse et une cellule photo-électrique, de telle sorte que ladite cellule soit éclairée et actionne un voyant lorsque le niveau de liquide baisse au-dessous d'une valeur prédéterminée. Un tel indicateur est particulièrement applicable comme indicateur d'alarme du niveau d'huile dans le carter d'un moteur à explosions, tel qu'un moteur de motocycle à graissage séparé.
