Abstract
The reducer consists of a vessel(3) which is fitted with an intermediate insulation layer(17). The vessel has a filling hopper(7) closed by a gate (8). The inside of the vessel has a plate(16) which supports a number of transducers(13). Each transducer has a probe(15) and contains a plate subjected to an alternating signal. The plate is bolted to the probe. The broken material is discharged through openings(9) in the base of the vessel.
