Abstract

The flexible pouch contg. liq. is for use as a lining for a combined case and pallet, having a filling a drain plug. It is rectangular, having fixed to the four parallel edges four rigid battens slightly longer than the edges concerned, so that their ends (20-23) can be detachably secured to the eight corners of the case. Starting with a flexible rectangular sheet incorporating the filling and drain plug, a first casing can be formed, closed at four apices, this being then converted into a second one closed at six apices forming two opposite surfaces joined at two of the apices. The edges of these surfaces are wound round the four battens, which are secured to the pocket walls thus formed.
