Abstract

Compositions organosiliciques durcissant à la température ambiante en élastomères, à base d'huiles alpha - omega di-(hydroxy) diorganopolysiloxaniques, d'agents réticulants, de charges minérales et d'additifs destinés à faire écran aux gaz et aux vapeurs. Ces compositions sont caractérisées en ce que les additifs sont des associations de produits comportant : - 30 à 95 % de polybutylènes liquides de poids moléculaire moyen en nombre variant de 300 à 2500, formés par polymérisation de mélanges d'oléfines à 4 atomes de carbone, mélanges renfermant au moins 65 % disobutènes; - 70 à 5 % de produits solides de structure lamellaire de diamètre particulaire moyen variant de 0,5 micron à 500 microns, ces associations étant utilisées à raison de 20 à 100 parties pour 100 parties des huiles de base alpha - omega di-(hydroxy) diorganopolysiloxaniques. Ces compositions donnent des élastomères ayant une perméabilité réduite aux gaz et aux vapeurs.
