Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un appareil pour la vulcanisation en continu d'un matériau élastomère qui comprend une chambre de vulcanisation pourvue d'une entrée et d'une sortie pour ledit matériau élastomère, agencée pour contenir un sel liquide de vulcanisation stable, des moyens étant prévus pour faire circuler le liquide dans la chambre à la température et à la pression de vulcanisation requises, une chambre de refroidissement étant reliée à la sortie de la chambre de vulcanisation et étant équipée de moyens pour faire circuler sous pression un agent de refroidissement gazeux tel qu'il n'interfère pas avec l'action de réticulation et qu'il ne réagisse pas avec le matériau d'isolation, lesdits moyens comprenant une unité de refroidissement à gaz et une pompe de circulation des gaz.
