Abstract
L'invention concerne un capteur de rayonnement Ledit capteur comporte deux cristaux de scintillations 1, 2 présentant un volume suffisant et couplés optiquement par un caoutchouc de silicone 5. Ce dernier permet également aux cristaux de vibrer de façon indépendante, de manière qu'ils ne se brisent pas. Un seul photomultiplicateur détecte les scintillations engendrées dans tous les cristaux. Application à un capteur destiné à être utilisé dans l'industrie, notamment dans les mines de charbon.
