Abstract

The building module comprises one or more floor plates, outer walls and if necessary inner walls. Coupling are provided to position the walls automatically in relation to each other and to those of adjacent modules, and there is a permanent connection between the space underneath the building when finally complete and the cavities in the walls. Positioning can be profiled coupling members fixed to the adjacent parts of two walls, each pair of members comprising a male and a female one. They can have a congruent trapezium shaped cross-section, the larger base of the trapezium being open and with lips extending outwards.
