THE CENTRAL BUMPER MEMBER (12) HAS A FIRST PLATE (15), A RIB (21), AND A GROOVE (24). EACH OF THE SIDE BUMPER MEMBERS (13) HAS A SECOND PLATE (16) AND A FLANGE (26). WHEN THE CENTRAL BUMPER MEMBER (12) AND EACH OF THE SIDE BUMPER MEMBERS (13) ARE COUPLED TO EACH OTHER, THE FIRST PLATE (15), THE RIB (21), AND THE SECOND PLATE (16) ARE JOINED TO EACH OTHER AND COVERED WITH THE FLANGE (26), MAKING THE OUTER SURFACES OF THE CENTRAL AND SIDE BUMPER MEMBERS (12), (13) FLUSH WITH EACH OTHER.(FIG 1)
