Abstract

La présente invention concerne un perfectionnement du procédé pour fabriquer des cordes selon le brevet principal. Selon la présente invention, on forme un faisceau de multifilaments de matières synthétiques ou naturelles, que l'on imprègne avec un adhésif thermodurcissable, présentant une élasticité appropriée après durcissement; on fait polymériser ensuite le produit d'imprégnation jusqu'à un degré choisi de polymérisation, puis on retord le faisceau en évitant l'essorage de ses multifilaments imprégnés; on fait alors passer le faisceau à travers une filière de calibre choisi pour laisser subsister, autour de la corde terminée, une gaine de produit d'imprégnation polymérisé, et l'on procède enfin à l'achèvement de la polymérisation du produit d'imprégnation. La présente invention est applicable à la fabrication de cordes pour instruments de musique, pour raquettes de tennis, etc.
