Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil pour neutraliser des particules portées par l'air et chargées électriquement en vue de réduire le dépot des particules sur les parois et d'autres surfaces exposées dans un volume fermé. De l'air contenant des particules chargées positivement 10 et sortent d'un premier groupe de dépoussiéreurs électrostatiques 6 est mélangé avec de l'air contenant des particules chargées négativement 5 et sortant d'un deuxième groupe de dépoussiéreurs élastrostatiques 1. Grâce au mélange de particules de charges différentes, les particules ont tendance à s'attirer et à se neutraliser par contact, réduisant ainsi la tendance des particules à être attirées électrostatiquement par les murs et les autres surfaces de la zone fermée. Application particulière en atelier de soudage.
