Abstract
L'invention se rapporte au domaine des fermentations en général. Elle concerne un procédé selon lequel on immobilise des cellules entières d'un organisme photométaboliquement actif sur un milieu pour former une matière composite stabilisée, on place la matière composite à l'intérieur d'un réacteur présentant au moins une paroi transparente et, en présence de lumière transmise à travers la paroi, on fait arriver en continu au réacteur une substance susceptible d'être photométabolisée par les cellules dans des conditions suffisantes pour assurer la formation du produit utile, caractérisé en ce que l'on ajoute à la substance susceptible d'être métabolisée des ions de métaux de transition choisis parmi Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu et leurs mélangea Application notamment à la production d'hydrogène.
