Abstract

La présente invention concerne le domaine des explosifs et plus spécialement celui des cordons détonants. Le cordon détonant selon l'invention comprend une gaine 2, 4, 5, 6 et un coeur central 1 constitué par une substance particulaire hautement explosive qui a été traitée par un ester d'alkyle d'un acide aromatique ou aliphatique possédant un point de fusion au plus égal à - 10 degrés C. Le cordon détonant de l'invention permet notamment la transmission d'une détonation alors que ledit cordon a été immergé dans l'eau pendant plusieurs jours.The present invention relates to the field of explosives and more especially that of detonating cords. The detonating cord according to the invention comprises a sheath 2, 4, 5, 6 and a central core 1 constituted by a highly explosive particulate substance which has been treated with an alkyl ester of an aromatic or aliphatic acid having a point of fusion at most equal to - 10 degrees C. The detonating cord of the invention allows in particular the transmission of a detonation while said cord has been immersed in water for several days.
