Abstract
The reserve film movement system includes two spools (5) fitted with a pin (6). The spools (5) are arranged side by side on a cylinder (3). The cylinder (3) has a longitudinal slot in it which is coaxial to the axis (1). On the axis (1) are fixed two diametrically opposed lever cranks (2). Rotation of the axis (1) actuates simultaneously in the slot (4) of the cylinder (3) th e insertion of one lever (2) and withdrawal of the other. The lever (2) in the slot (4) rotates the cylinder (3) which comes up against the pin (6) in the spool (5) which in its turn is rotated. The other spool being freed from the cylinder (3). The system can be used in every case where an axis can only be rotated from one of its ends. It is especially suitable for providing reverse film movement for standard Super 8 film cassettes.
