Abstract

The equipment which may be mounted on a pneumatic or on a mechanical seeder, comprises cartridges (1) assembled in a predetermined order on a slider (2) carried by a guide (3). An advancing mechanism can advance the slides in steps to present the cartridges in turn above an orifice (4) above a tube (4a) leading to a hopper (5). The hopper is arranged against disc (6) which has cells (6a) in which seeds are retained until released by bar (11) controlled by a jack (12). When a row has been sown the remaining seeds in hopper (5) are emptied into bag (13) by operation of jack (7). Slider (2) is then advanced for sowing of seeds from the next cartridge.
