Système permettant l'exploitation d'informations numériques à haute densité. Le système met en oeuvre un dispositif d'enregistrement et de lecture de données codées sur un support magnétique. Ce dispositif est associé avec des transcodeurs permettant de passer d'un code binaire au code bipolaire à haute densité d'ordre n et inversement L'invention est principalement applicable à l'enregistrement de signaux numériques à grand debit par exemple pour des signaux à ondes élastiques, ou électromagnétiques codes.
