Abstract

Appareil de soudage sous l'eau en atmosphère gazeuse. Il comprend une enceinte 2 dans laquelle un gaz comprimé arrive par un conduit 14 de manière à former une atmosphère gazeuse 20 refoulant l'eau par le fond ouvert 4 de cette enceinte. Un premier conduit 22, destiné à l'évacuation des gaz de l'enceinte, porte un robinet 26 permettant de régler le debit d'évacuation. Un second conduit 30 est monté de manière réglable à travers le toit 24 de l'enceinte de manière que son extrémité inférieure 36 soit placée légèrement au-dessus du fond ouvert 4 de l'enceinte et que les gaz de celle-ci s'échappent également par ce conduit 30 lorsque le niveau de l'eau descend au-dessous du niveau de l'extrémité 36. Domaine d'application : soudage sous l'eau.
