Abstract

Angular deviation of the reflective surface are monitored by use of a Lummer cube (2). A pair of light sources (41, 51) illuminate adjacent surfaces of the cube, which both lie upon the optical axis of an objective lens (1) by virtue of a semi reflective beam splitting surface (20) in a diagonal plane of the cube. Each surface bears orthogonal graduated tracks with a reference bar (4) and (5) along a central axis. Images of the graduated screens are then projected onto each other with degrees of misaligned indicative of mirror deviation.
