Abstract

Ensembles de matelasserie ou de capitonnage, résistant à la combustion lente ou sans flamme. Le placement d'une couche de soufre en position immédiatement adjacente à une matière, normalement prédisposée à la combustion lente ou sans flamme, dans une masse composite, empêche efficacement la progression de la combustion lente ou sans flamme jusqu'à un stade dangereux; la couche de soufre est avantageusement appliquée en revêtant ou en imprégnant les matières fibreuses ou en mousse de polyuréthane, ou en séparant des couches de ces matières avec des films, des tissus et analogues, contenant du soufre, une quantité efficace de soufre est environ 25 à 50 g/m**2 à environ 250-300 g/m**2 dans une couche ayant une profondeur d'environ 1 à 3 mm. La présente invention est particulièrement utile pour fournir des ensembles de matelasserie ou de mobilier capitonné qui résistent à la combustion lente et sans flamme.
