Abstract

L'invention concerne une pile électrique à dépolarisation par l'air comprenant une électrode positive centrale comportant une masse catalytique présentant une cheminée d'aération, une électrode négative, un électrolyte et un espace gazeux surmontant l'ensemble formé par l'électrode négative et l'électrolyte. Selon l'invention, un tube imperméable à l'oxygène, plongeant dans l'électrolyte et relié de façon étanche à la masse catalytique, empêche tout passage d'oxygène vers ledit espace gazeux. Application aux piles à électrolyte alcalin ou l'électrode négative est à base de zinc divisé.
