Abstract

Procédé et appareil permettant de décoder un code de barres rectilignes de forte densité. Le procédé consiste à décoder sans ambiguïté les caractères codés du symbole en utilisant des rapports primaires représentatifs des rapports des sommes des largeurs de modules de codage choisis et des rapports de décodage secondaires. Les rapports secondaires sont choisis en cas d'impression hors tolérance du symbole pour permettre leur utilisation conjointement à celle des rapports primaires en vue de lever toute ambiguité éventuelle. Application notamment au code UPC.
