Abstract

The system records and displays variable analogue signals emanating from a number of points in a matrix. For each point in the matrix there is a measuring system having a signal detector and an amplifying circuit. A multiplexer sampler provides a clock time rate of successive groups of signal samples emanating from the various detectors. An analogue digital convertor receives the signals from the multiplexer. A digital computer fitted with a rapid access memory has buffer zones which receive data from the converter. A circulation memory with direct access to the rapid access memory successively stores the data emitted by the converter. The system has means of displaying the memories contents. The computer and the memories being designed to permit, at different times, selection of data from a single detector and restoration of the variation in the signal time from the detector.
