Abstract
La présente invention a pour objet un procédé d'élaboration au four électrique à arc d'une fonte contenant de 2 à 4,4 % en poids de carbone et 1 à 5 % en poids de silicium à partir de minerais préréduits ou de ferrailles, par fusion des minerais préréduits ou des ferrailles avec des fondants et addition de carbone, ce procédé étant caractérisé en ce que l'on introduit dans le four à arc de la silice que l'on réduit par du carbone.
