Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie des matières synthétiques. On minimise ou empêche la variation de couleur des résines de chlorure de vinyle lorsqu'on chauffe au-dessus de 70 degrés C une bouillie les contenant, en effectuant l'opération de chauffage en présence d'un stabilisateur de couleur miscible au monomère, composé d'un peroxyde organique et/ou d'un composé organique azoïque ou de leur mélange avec un composé epoxy de 2 à 22 atomes de carbone. Application du procédé lorsqu'on chauffe une bouillie de résine de chlorure vinyle au-dessus de 70 degrés C pour réduire la teneur en monomère des produits obtenus à moins de 10 ppm de chlorure de vinyle.
