Abstract

The connector has a central tube fitted with a male thread at one end and an 'O' ring which fits into the end of the pipe. The tube has an outside groove for the 'O' ring which seals inside the collar mounted inside the coil spring. The collar screws into the opposite end of th pipe and is located inside a cylinder which fits inside the locknut. The end of the pipe has a central 'O' ring and a coil spring is fitted at the end of the cylinder. The cylinder screws inside the locknut at the bottom end of the cylinder. The connector parts can move longitudinally along the axis of the pipes.
