Abstract

In the equipment for applying a dry cleaning process to clothing and fabrics, there are two separate baths, where the first bath gives a pre-cleaning action using an enriched active washing medium and water, while the main cleaning bath uses a grease-dissolving solvent. In addn. to the recirculation system for the pre-wash bath, and its filter, there is a second fluid recirculation system, incorporating a further filter and filter cartridge to remove lo-grease dirt and colour from the fluid after use. The system is simple and economical in use,a nd does not need a special distillation unit for the pre-wash bath circuit.
