Transformateur compact utilisant de l'huile de silicone comme diélectrique liquide. Il comprend un couvercle amovible 30 pourvu d'une chambre d'expansion 32 étanche aux liquides dont l'intérieur communique librement avec l'intérieur de la cuve étanche aux liquides 26, une poche 40 placée dans la chambre et munie d'une ouverture 42 communiquant avec une ouverture 34 pratiquée dans la chambre et un diélectrique liquide 50 remplissant la cuve et l'espace compris entre la poche et la chambre d'expansion. Application aux transformateurs pour moteur à traction.
