Abstract
The water-heated evaporator for low-boiling, liquefied gases consists of tubes (1 to 4) which run parallel to one another and through which water or gas passes. The tubes (1 to 4) are brazed or welded to one another at the lines of contact. The tubes (1 to 4) are arranged helically so that they form the circumference of a cylinder. Cylinders of this type can be wound from two or four tubes (1 to 4). The evaporator can be used as a basic unit for evaporators of modular construction of any size.
