Abstract

The circulation pump is partic. for a heating or hot water installation. It comprises a pump housing with a partition which separates the pump chamber from a chamber contg. the rotor of the drive motor. The two chambers are connected via the gap of the pump shaft bearing. A guide baffle is provided which directs water from the pressure side of the pump chamber radially inward to the pump side of the gap. The partition and the disc-shaped baffle may form a radial duct between them having its radially outward intake connected with the space whilst its inner end is adjacent to the gap, extends around the shaft and connects with the chamber via a gap.
