Abstract

Procédé de lancement, à partir d'une position de repos sensiblement horizontale sur une barge de lancement, jusqu'à une position immergée, d'une embase de plate-forme. On leste, avant immersion, une partie au moins du niveau inférieur 4 de l'embase 1 au moyen d'un matériau de densité supérieure ou égale à celle de l'eau, on assure à l'embase 1, toujours avant son immersion et compte tenu de son lestage, une flottabilité devant lui permettre, après immersion, une position verticale de flottement, et on pousse cette embase, le niveau inférieur 4 en avant, en vue de son immersion, hors de la barge de lancement 2 jusqu'à une position C pour laquelle cette embase bascule d'elle-même dans l'eau pour y adopter ladite position verticale de flottement.
