Abstract

Procédé et dispositif de sciage de pièces de bois comportant au moins une face plane, telles que dosses et plateaux. On utilise une plaque d'appui inclinée d'un angle d'au moins 22 degrés par rapport à la verticale et s'étendant parallèlement au plan de coupe d'une lame de scie et perpendiculairement à un convoyeur entraînant la pièce de bois. Les produits sciés sont séparés par gravité, le produit scié à l'épaisseur choisie restant après le sciage sur le convoyeur contre la plaque d'appui, l'autre produit glissant par gravité vers le bas sur la face sciée du premier produit et s'engageant sur des moyens de guidage inclinés. On obtient une séparation parfaite des produits sciés sans utilisation de séparateur.
