Agents ignifugeants et procédé pour former des couches de barrière protégeant des objets contre l'incendie. Les agents ignifugeants contiennent des sels métalliques d'un ou plusieurs acides phosphonocarboxyliques et/ou phosphoniques. On peut les utiliser en mélange avec des liants et, éventuellement, d'autres additifs pour la formation de couches de barrière protectrices sur des objets exposés à des risques d'incendie.
