Abstract

Une table de fixation sous la surface inférieure sensiblement horizontale d'un iceberg de propulseur est composée d'un flotteur plat comportant plusieurs capacités ou << ballasts >>, à la partie inférieure duquel est solidarisé un propulseur et qui est surmonté de piétements dont les parois sont canelées et percées près de leur raccordement au flotteur d'orifices d'évacuation de l'eau de mer dans laquelle l'iceberg est en flottation. La mise en place de propulseurs fixés à des tables de fixation permet de ne pas immobiliser des remorqueurs.
