Abstract

Cette machine à former des balles de foin cylindriques par enroulement comprend sur un châssis à remorquer : un châssis, un tambour de ramassage muni d'un dispositif de nettoyage, un rouleau de compactage de la balle en cours de formation. Des moyens sont associés au tambour pour le faire tourner sensiblement à la vitesse linéaire du sol qui défile sous la machine, ainsi qu'un système de câbles souples ancrés au châssis et qui passent autour du rouleau et traînent au sol, de manière à assurer le compactage des balles en formation, avec une position de transport et une position de travail; un dispositif auxiliaire est prévu pour former une seconde balle alors qu'une première balle se trouve encore dans la machine. Cette machine convient pour la mise en balle de tous fourrage formés en andains sur le sol.
