Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif pour reconnaître et annuler progressivement des informations enregistrées sur un support magnetique. Le dispositif se compose de deux parties séparées : une partie, dite mécanique, comprend la tête magnétique de lecture et d'écriture 4 et forme le lecteur-enregistreur, dans lequel on introduit la carte de crédit qu'on fait passer à travers ce dernier par commande manuelle; la seconde partie est constituée par des circuits électroniques de reconnaissance et d'écriture des informations, opérations qui se produisent en un seul passage. En plus ces circuits présentent une sortie pour piloter un appareil de distribution automatique d'objets ou de services. Les deux parties sont reliées entre elles à l'aide d'un câble 6 provenant de la tête magnétique. Application à la lecture de cartes de crédit.
