Abstract

L'addition concerne un procédé perfectionné d'hydratation d'oléfines en alcools suivant le brevet principaL Les oléfines sont mises en contact avec de la vapeur d'eau en présence d'un catalyseur d'hydratation comprenant un support silicieux imprégné d'acide phosphorique. La teneur en aluminium et en fer du catalyseur fixé sur le support est maintenue au-dessous d'environ 2,25 % en poids sur la base du support exempt d'acide. Elle concerne également le nouveau catalyseur d'hydratation utilisé dans ce procédé.
