Abstract

L'invention concerne la métallurgie. Le noyau faisant l'objet de l'invention est du type comprenant une tige creuse 1 fixée à un élément porteur 2 et comportant une portion cylindrique 3 et une portion conique 4 engagées dans la cavité de la coquille de coulée 6, et est caractérisé en ce que sur la portion cylindrique 3 de la tige creuse est engagée une douille protectrice 7, montée de façon qu'elle puisse coulisser sur la tige 1 sous l'action d'un mécanisme d'actionnement 10. L'invention s'applique notamment à la coulée de demi-produits creux à diamètre extérieur de 270 à 750 mm et à diamètre intérieur de 100 à 350 mm.
