Abstract

L'invention concerne la fonderie. Le sable faisant l'objet de l'invention est du type contenant une charge réfractaire, une solution aqueuse d'un silicate de métal alcalin à titre de liant, et un durcisseur, et est caractérisé en ce qu'il contient du propylène-carbonate à titre de durcisseur. L'invention permet d'obtenir un sable dont la vitalité et la vitesse de durcissement du sable solidifiable à l'air satisfont aux conditions nécessaires à sa mise en oeuvre industrielle.
