Abstract

L'invention concerne la production de filés pré-orientés; elle permet d'opérer à grande vitesse et avec un rendement élevé. L'invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation, à haute vitesse, de filaments pré-orientés de polymeres linéaires synthétiques, caractérisé par le fait que le polymère de départ est extrudé, à l'état fondu, dans une filière et qu'il traverse, dans son parcours vers les moyens de bobinage mécaniques, une zone dans laquelle est imparti au gaz ambiant, constitué en particulier par de l'air, une vitesse dans la direction de l'avancement du filé et à proximité de celui-ci, le filé lui-même étant ensuite bobiné après être sorti de ladite zone. Application notamment aux filés de polytéréphtalate.
