Abstract

The gear wheels (11, 12, 13) are mounted transversely along the back plate and are part of the gearing which feeds the paper (32) forward through the printer. The ink ribbon is mounted on the horizontal plane so that time vertical ribbon passes through the printing head. The ink ribbon is driven through a set of gears mounted on vertical axes. A drive motor (22) drives the paper unrolling mechanism through the belt drive (24). Printing is controlled b a row of electro magnets (27) fitted in the printing head.
