Abstract

Ce procédé est plus particulièrement destiné à être mis en oeuvre avec une équilibreuse comportant des moyens d'entraînement de l'ensemble tournant et des organes de mesure du balourd associés à des moyens d'étalonnage. Il consiste, lorsque l'ensemble tournant est à la vitesse de mesure, à étalonner les organes de mesure par réglage de leurs moyens de lecture à une valeur déterminée supérieure à la valeur maximale d'une échelle de lecture différentielle, à arrêter l'ensemble tournant, à poser une masse étalon sur l'ensemble tournant, à l'opposé du balourd, et dès que l'ensemble tournant atteint à nouveau la vitesse de mesure, à déterminer par examen des moyens de lecture la vraie valeur de la masse compensatrice qui sera substituée à celle étalon. Il peut être utilisé pour assurer l'équilibrage de tout ensemble tournant et notamment de roues de véhicules.
