Abstract

L'invention concerne un engrenage réducteur à vitesse multiple, comprenant un arbre d'entrée de puissance, un arbre de sortie de puissance, une série de trains d'engrenages répartiteurs de charge disposés fonctionnellement entre ledit arbre d'entrée et ledit arbre de sortie. L'engrenage selon l'invention comporte un support rotatif supportant lesdits trains d'engrenages dans u mouvement orbital autour de l'axe dudit arbre d'entrée, une série d'engrenages de réaction disposés concentriquement audit arbre d'entrée de manière à pouvoir tourner par rapport à celui-ci; des pignons dans lesdits trains d'engrenages pour chacun desdits engrenages de réaction, et des moyens agencés pour freiner sélectivement la rotation desdits engrenages de réaction et obtenir une réduction de vitesse prédeterminée dudit arbre d'entrée vers ledit arbre de sortie.
