Abstract

The dispenser comprises a hollow cylinder contg. an axially displaceable plunger returnable by spring loading after delivery. The cylinder comprises two axially-aligned, end-to-end sections detachably fixed together. At opposite ends of the cylinder, one section presents an axial discharge nozzle while the other section has an axial passage for a plunger actuating button at one end of an axial rod. The plunger at the other end of the rod is made up of inner and outer collars axially spaced by an annular channel contg. a coaxial helical screw thread around the rod in the channel. As the plunger passes through the nozzle, the channel carries a measure of fluid from the cylinder. At the button end of the rod, a helical groove in the button engages a peg fixed in the cylinder passage. This serves to turn the rod and plunger on their acis when axially displaced. The outer collar and screw section of the plunger is exchangeable to alter the delivery calibration of the plunger. When empty, the nozzle section of the cylinder is detached to be refilled or renewed.
