Abstract

La présente invention concerne une articulation à rotule servant de palier d'appui à des jambes de force à ressort. Cette articulation formée d'un tourillon de rotule 1, d'une rotule ou tête sphérique 2 et d'une coque sphérique de matière synthétique 3 se caractérise en ce que le tourillon 1 de l'articulation à rotule est relié à la carcasse du véhicule tandis que le carter en deux parties 6, 7 dans lequel est logée une coque formant palier de rotule 3 en matière synthétique, est relié à la jambe de force. Le carter 6 comprend un prolongement tubulaire 10 dans lequel pénètre l'extrémité de l'amortisseur 11 fixée à l'aide d'un collier de serrage 12. L'invention s'applique aux vehicules automobiles équipés d'essieux de type MacPherson.
