Abstract

A loudspeaker cabinet (17) has a front wall orifices (18) behind which a pair of speakers (16) (16a) are mounted on the inside of the cabinet. The loudspeakers operate in the audible frequency range and are provided with a structure (12, 12a) which reflects acoustic frequencies within the audible frequency spectrum. Each of the structures (12, 12a) has a single opening which is closed by a respective loudspeaker (16, 16a). The structures are constructed of a hard inflexible material and formed in two parts connected together along a seam (15). As a modification the structure may have a waisted profile but axia symmetry with the loudspeaker coil axis is maintained.
